DESCRIPTION:LMYP Polar Plunge presented by LakeScape supporting the Lake Martin Resource Association is back for it's tenth year! Join in for a great time as participants take the plunge into Lake Martin from the shores of Kowaliga Beach. Entry to the event is $15 for Plungers\, which includes access to food trucks\, live music and supporting the Lake Martin Resource Association's mission of keeping Lake Martin clean\, safe and prosperous. Kowaliga's bars will be up and running to serve your favorite beverages. Prefer to stay dry? Come as a Docker with all the same benefits for only $20! In addition to The Plunge\, guests can take part in the Costume Contest with $100 cash going to the best costume\, as well as the Dash for the Cash - a short race to a floating buoy and back to the shoreline immediately after The Plunge - also a $100 prize. Participate in The Plunge or just come for the good times! T-Shirts will be available for purchase on-site. Changing tents will be on-site to dry off and change clothes. Plungers should bring a pair of water shoes since the beach is a little rocky. Doors Open: 10 AM The Plunge: 12 PM Event Ends: 4PM Tickets will also be sold at the door once online sales end on Wednesday\, January 14th.
